productive junior yearWestern North Carolina is an area committed to quality academics. Many juniors and seniors in Haywood County are thinking about what to do beyond high school. They are considering whether to go straight to a four-year college or university or if they should attend community college and earn an associate degree first. There is a lot to do to prepare for college. From applications and tests to extra-curricular activities and spending time with family, the last two years of high school can feel like a blur for stressed teenagers. It may be even more of a blur for parents who are trying to keep up with all their juniors and seniors have to complete while trying to spend as much time as possible with them before they enter a new phase of life.

For Haywood Christian Academy high school students, we want to emphasize the importance of spiritual growth as well as academic rigor in preparation for college and beyond. Our students spend their high school years preparing their hearts and minds, as well as their souls for the next phase of life.
