It is the school's hope that no family would fail to consider Haywood Christian Academy for financial reasons alone. Financial assistance at HCA exists for families who lack the necessary resources to access Christian education for their children. Families may apply online. There is a small application fee.
Do you have scholarships or financial assistance?
Yes, Haywood Christian Academy does offer need-based financial assistance for grades K-12, in addition to participating in the NC Opportunity Scholarship program.
Financial assistance options are:
- The Opportunity Scholarship Program expands school choice in North Carolina through scholarship grants for eligible children in kindergarten through 12th grade. This program provides funding of up to $4,200 per year for eligible children who choose to attend a participating nonpublic school. Qualifying families seeking financial assistance are required to apply to the NC Opportunity Scholarship prior to seeking assistance through FACTS Grant & Aid. The NC Opportunity Scholarship application opens on February 1st, for the following school year, and closes on March 1st. Click here to apply for the NC Opportunity Scholarship.
- FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent company that conducts financial analysis to determine your family’s financial need. From them, the HCA scholarship committee will receive a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained in your application and supporting tax documents. Haywood Christian Academy is solely responsible for determining the final grant or aid award. The analysis completed by FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment serves as a recommendation only.
