Should I Send My Kids to Private School?

Maybe you have tried public school and notice that your child is struggling, whether academically, socially, or spiritually. Seven Ways to Beat the Summer Heat for Families

Summer in the mountains is the best time of year for many families. 

With schools out for a few months, it is an opportunity to spend quality time together. There is so much to explore in western North Carolina; you couldn't possibly do it all in a single summer. 

The warm summer months are exactly the right time to see and do as much as you can. Being at a higher elevation than other parts of the state, we do get a break from the most extreme heat. However, there will be some days and weeks that you and your family will need to find some ways to beat the heat. Fortunately, there are plenty of opportunities to do that around here as well.

How To Keep the Learning Going During Summer

The 2020-2021 school year is drawing to a close. It has been a long, strange year in western North Carolina. Many students in Haywood County had to navigate remote learning for significant portions of the year. How To Research Private Schools

There are a lot of things to love about western North Carolina. The Asheville area is by far the largest metropolitan region in the mountains of North Carolina. That gives locals access to a host of conveniences and amenities while we also get to enjoy one of the most beautiful areas in the South. While Haywood County is relatively rural, we are close enough to the city to have access to all that makes the Asheville area unique. In addition to the optimal location, Haywood County has great schools, many wonderful teachers and exceptional educational opportunities.
